Whenever a client steps into counselling sessions, they typically seem composed and set to begin their day. But through sessions with clients for several months, I understand what's really happening lies underneath an orderly exterior.

This is a routine they become accustomed to; a quiet ritual that enables the individual "disconnect" from the overwhelming thoughts that overwhelm their mind once their schedule eventually comes to an end.
