Homages Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of celebrated film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community continue to honor the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Writing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, stated he finally felt ready to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has passed that I can finally put my grief into words," posted Elwes, noting that his initial encounter with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started passing more hours together I understood this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor shared never-before-seen clips from the production, commenting that he doesn't recollect "a single day without mirth".

"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Values that Rob valued immensely. That is part of the many reasons he was the best person to direct it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Asserting that they were a formidable pair would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He ended with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Fellow Artist

In a different piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved being with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the main character.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked wonderfully with the cast, and he grasped the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Withheld

Recently, a Los Angeles superior court judge ruled to prevent the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the LAPD.

A legal directive placed a security hold on the files to prohibit the public release of "related notes, documents, files or images" associated with the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had previously confirmed their deaths were the outcome of homicide, with a record listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

In the wake of the deaths, public personalities offered divergent reactions.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, providing provocative claims that were met with immediate backlash by several commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his perspective to the critics last week. Conversing on his show, Rogan characterized the comments as "shocking" and remarked they revealed a troubling absence of compassion.

Rogan ended by remarking that an adviser could have stepped in when the decision to comment on the passing was made.
