The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
